Crop circles 2015 - Phi Reunited

The disappearence of flight MH370 of Malaysian Airlines in March 2014 is not gone from the collective (un)consciousness.

It stil is the greatest mystery in the history of flight: never before a plane, after it vanished from the radar, was not found again.

But this changed on July 29th 2015........

On that day a part of a wing (a so called 'flaperon') was found on the beach near a lake called Etang du Bois Rouge on the island of Reunion, east of Madagaskar (fig 1).

On the 20th and 27th of July two crop formations emerged on the other side of the world near Chopinzinho in the province of Parana, Brasil (fig 2).

Etang du Bois Rouge lies 55.38.56 E, 20.55.11 S and 174 miles north of the Tropic of Capricorn (fig 3).

Chopinzinho lies 52.29.29 W, 25.50.14 Z and 164 miles south of the Tropic of Capricorn (fig 4).

The distance between Reunion and Chopinzinho is 6.650 miles and the Prime Meridian crosses the Reunion-Chopinzinho line on 169 miles of the middle.

In image 5 the yellow line is the Prime Meridian, the red line is the distance (169 miles) to the middle (M) of the line Chopinzinho - Reunion.

This 169 miles is the mean of the distances of Reunion (174 miles) and Chopinzinho (164 miles) to the Tropic of Capricorn (174 + 164)/2= 169.

On May 8 2015 a crop formation appeared in Fangshan district, Bejing, China.

On July 21th the crop formation near The Belt appeared, one day after Chopinzinho 1 and six days before Chopinzinho number 2.

What on Earth could be the relationship between the finding of a part of a wing of a lost airplane and the appearence of crop formations?

The findings I will describe in the following pages suprise, if not to say, astonish me and will hopefully do the same to you.

They don't give answers, they only raise more questions which I can not answer at the moment and maybe never can.

What I discovered only deepens the mystery in which crop formations are enshrouded.

So let's find out a little bit more about the mystery.

I presume that the pictures of these crop circles are well known to you so I don't show them.

In Figure E it looks as if the line Fangshan-Chopinzinho is perfectly straight.

In reality, drawing a straight line Fangshan-Chopinzinho this line runs 200 miles to the south (Figure F).

The figures A to F show the signs of the incredible ingenuity we are about to discover because: how big is the chance when you put 4 points on a sphere randomly, connect them with lines, measure the angles of the connected lines and that the outcome will be 90 degrees or slightly off (83 degrees) for all points?

I never was a star at calculation of probabilities so when you know: don't hesitate to let me know.

I advise everybody who reads this not to take my words for granted.

So start up Google Earth, copy and past the crop formations in it and start measuring!

Please (when you have the time) test it yourself!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In this triangle seven crop formations appeared which are responsable for in first instance four phi relationships and, later discovered, a fifth.

These crop seven formations are

1) Dondukovskaya June 7,

2) Berlin Brandenburg June 8,

3) Klicnov July 12, Skalice July 12,

4) Togliatti July 21,

5) The Belt July 21,

6) Bily Kamen July 25

7) Vestby August 7

 

But let me first give you a short introduction to Phi.

Phi with an upper case “P” is 1.6180339887 …, while phi with a lower case “p” is 0.6180339887, the reciprocal of Phi and also Phi minus 1.

The ratio, or proportion, determined by Phi (1.618…) was known to the Greeks as the “dividing a line in the extreme and mean ratio” and to Renaissance artists as the “Divine Proportion”.

It is also called the Golden Section, Golden Ratio and the Golden Mean.

Phi is the ratio of the line segments that result when a line is divided in one very special and unique way.

Divide the line so that:

the ratio of the length of the entire line (A) to the length of larger line segment (B) is the same as the ratio of the length of the larger line segment (B) to the length of the smaller line segment (C).

This happens only at the point where:

A is 1.61803399... times B and B is 1.61803399... times C.

Alternatively, C is 0.61803399.... of B and B is 0.61803399.... of A.

 

What is so special about a number?

Robert Lawlor, writer of the beautiful book 'Sacred geometry' (1982, Thames and Hudson Ltd, London, now unfortunately out of print but I bought a second hand copy and found a pdf on the Internet) says it like this:

 

"Johannes Kepler, formulator of the laws of planetary motion, is quoted as saying, 'Geometry has two great treasures: one is the theorem of Pythagoras, the other the division of a line into mean and extreme ratios, that

is, the Golden Mean. The first way may be compared to a measure of gold, the second to a precious jewel.'

There are grand philosophical, natural and aesthetic considerations which have surrounded this proportion ever since humanity first began to reflect upon the geometric forms of its world.

Its presence can be found in the sacred art of Egypt, India, China, Islam and other traditional civilizations.

It dominates Greek art and architecture; it persists concealed in the monuments of the Gothic Middle Ages and re-emerges openly to be celebrated in the Renaissance. Although it pervades many aspects of nature from which the artists drew their inspiration, it would be wrong to say that one can uncover the Golden Mean throughout all of Nature. But it can be said that wherever there is an intensification of function or a particular beauty and harmony of form, there the Golden Mean will be found. It is a reminder of the relatedness of the created world to the perfection of its source and of its potential future evolution."

The appearance of Phi is not only restricted to (sacred) art and architecture.

Phi is everywhere, in nature, aesthetics, architecture, painting, design, music and mathematics and it is way beyond the scope of this article to shine a light on all aspects. Shortly said: Phi is Everywhere in the Universe (and beyond?).

My Questions:

  1. What is the relationship between the find of a wing part of flight MH370 on July 29th and the relative position of the nine crop formations?

  2. Is it 'normal' that their relative positions express the Golden Mean?

  3. What could have caused the precision of their placing?

 

Figure 9 shows all nine crop formations with (white) lines drawn to Reunion.

Figure 10 shows the extended lines to the line Fangshan-The Belt (red).

Now phi (with a lower case “p”, so 0,61803399..) comes in view:

The distance between Fangshan and The Belt is 5.114 miles.

The Golden Mean of this distance is 3.160 miles and I marked this (phi 1) in Google Earth.

The elongated line Reunion – Togliatti crosses the line Fangshan – The Belt on 32,7 miles from phi 1.

This means, on a total distance of 3.160 miles, a deviation of 1,03% or a precision of 98,7%.

Surprised by this outcome I was curious if I could find other relationships and I surely did!

Distance of phi 1 – The Belt = 1.953 miles and the Golden Mean of this is 1.208 miles.

The line Reunion-Vestby crosses the line phi 1-The Belt at 11,2 miles from

phi 2. The deviation is 0,875% (of 1.208) and this means an accuracy of 99,1.

The Belt – phi 2 = 748 miles => Golden Mean is 462 miles

The elongated line Reunion – middle of line Skalice/Bily Kamen crosses the line Fangshan-The Belt at 12 miles from phi 3.

Deviation is .

The distance phi 3-phi 1 = 1.493 miles. The Golden Mean is 922 miles.

The elongated line Reunion-Dondukovskaya crosses the line phi 3-phi 1 at 914 miles.

Deviation is 8 miles = <1% (from 914).

Accuracy 99%.

Figure 11 shows the 4 'phi-points' or Golden Mean points (from now on called GM-points). The green lines point to Reunion, the red lines to the crop formations.

 

The Reunion-Vestby line did not have to be elongated because Vestby is North of the Fangshan-The Belt line.

It is clear to see how the red lines to the crop formations come very close to the GM-points.

Figures 12, 13, 14 and 15 are close-ups and show the deviation between the green 'Reunion GM-line' and the red lines to the crop formations.

Figure 16 is an overview only to show the idea.

Clear to see is that this drawing does not give a good view of the true Golden Mean proportions.

Because the screenshot from Google Earth is a projection of a 3D spherical shape (the Earth) on a 2D (flat) surface and using a drawing program to make straight lines on an originally sphere shaped surface, gives a distortion of the proportions.

As you will notice this picture gives a fifth Golden Mean relationship which I found later.

Phi 5 lies on the intersection of the Reunion-Vestby line with the line Chopinzinho-Togliatti.

This point lies 6.966 miles from Chopinzinho which is exactly the Golden Mean of the distance Chopinzinho-Fangshan (11.273 miles).

The line Reunion-Vestby makes two phi's!!

All these Golden Mean relationships are special but would have been explicable if the crop circle makers (when we assume that they are human beings) have contact and in this case global contact.

They can make an agreement to create crop formations which relative distances meet exact Golden Mean standards.

In practice this means that the Chinese farmer organisation (which claims the creation of the Fangshan formation for promotion purposes) is in contact with people (farmers as well?) in Brasil, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Germany, Russia and Norway.

 

Not impossible and, say that this is the case, they agree to follow the scheme of figure 17 and 'work from phi 1 to phi 5'.

Again: all conceivable and with good phone-, e-mail- and Internetcontact and the right tools at hand (Google Earth, GPS equipment) very possible!

Let's imagine that this is the way that it is done.

The chronological order of the creation of the crop formations, where 'one Golden Mean follows another', would have been as such:

 

1. Fangshan

2. Chopinzinho

3. The Belt

4. Togliatti

5. Berlin Brandenburg and Klicnov/Skalice

6. Vestby

7. Dondukovskaya

 

But now we have a slight problem: let's call it a chronology problem.

Figure 19 shows that the chronology of appearance is not as just described.

It shows, by means of the red numbers, the chronological order in appearing:

 

1. Fangshan May 8

2. Dondukovskaya June 7

3. Berlin Brandenburg June 8 / Klicnov / Skalice July 12

4. Chopinzinho July 20 and 27

5. The Belt July 21

6. Togliatti July 21 and

7. Vestby August 7.

 

2. Dondukovskaya (June 7) lies on phi 2 of the distance Togliatti-Vestby and was there before Togliatti (July 21) and Vestby (august 7) even had appeared.

 

3. Berlin Brandenburg June 8 appeared 43 days before The Belt and Togliatti (both July 21) and Klicnov/Skalice (July 12) appeared 9 days before The Belt and Togliatti.

The only 'logic' crop formations are Togliatti and Vestby.

Togliatti because it lies on the GM-point of Fangshan-The Belt wich were formed earlier and Vestby because that one lies on the GM-point of The Belt and Klicnov/Skalice which were formed earlier as well.

And here we have our Chronology Problem (and the use of upper case might seem theatrical but it is not overdone).

With the chronology of appearance of the crop formations as shown it is impossible to follow the scheme of figure 17 and 'work from phi 1 to phi 5'.

Because how can you calculate a Golden Mean when you don't have a line with a given lenght to calculate it from?

Only when you have a line with a given lenght it follows that 0,6180339..th part of it defines (lowercase) phi.

Or: multiplying the lenght by 1,61803399.. you will find (uppercase) Phi.

 

So: Dondukovskaya, Golden Mean-point, was there before Togliatti and Vestby, the 'endpoints of the line', where created.

Regarded from a 'materialistic' or scientific point of view where time is a lineair process and reaction follows action and not the other way around, my findings should be impossible.

This raises a series of questions:

  1. Why phi? (to paraphrase the well respected Michael Glickman)

  2. Has there been contact between the circlemakers (assumed that they are human beings) in China, Brasil, Great Britain, Germany, Czech Republic, Russia and Norway and did they carefully plan this?

  3. Did they use Google Earth and GPS tools to achieve this accuracy?

  4. Why does the chronology of appearance of the crop formations not fit to the creation of the five Golden Means?

  5. What do crop formations have to do with world events (like in this case the disappearence of flight MH370 and the recovery 16 months later of a part of the wing?

  6. If the crop formations are made by human beings which had no contact with each other: what causes this precision?

  7. What agent could be at work to make people do this and WHY?

  8. If it is 'not human', What is it then and Why?

  9. Or is all this a matter of coincidence?
